What started as a small studio with no business plan and a handful of students has since grown into a thriving, transformative brand.
Courtney Del Vecchio
At just 23 years old, Courtney DelVecchio opened her first hot yoga studio in Old Saybrook, Connecticut with nothing but a dream, a mat, and a belief that movement and community could change lives. With no business plan and no roadmap, just relentless passion, she transformed a tiny room with a handful of students into what would become a powerful, fast-growing brand.
From day one, Courtney’s vision was unmistakable: create a space that was sweaty, safe, playful, and profoundly human. Through her innovative blend of infrared heat and steam, music, breathwork, and intentional sequencing, she cultivated more than a studio. She built a culture of belonging. A place where people of every age and background could come to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves.
When the pandemic tested the entire fitness industry, Courtney’s community-first approach didn’t just help her survive, it strengthened the bond that set her studios apart. Students stayed loyal. The culture stayed intact. The mission stayed unshakable.
After expanding to New Haven and continuing to refine her signature methodology, Courtney launched Sweatfluence in 2025, a bold rebrand and franchise model designed to share this life-changing experience nationwide. The name reflects her philosophy: when we sweat and flow together, we become better versions of ourselves and that energy naturally influences everyone around us.
Today, Courtney leads Sweatfluence as a founder who is still in the studio, still on the mat, and still deeply connectedto the work. She mentors franchisees personally, guiding them through studio layout, instructor development, operations, and community cultivation. Her commitment ensures every location reflects the integrity, energy, and inclusivity that have defined her studios since day one.
Her story is proof that passion, purpose, and the right systems can turn a single room into a movement.
“I built this studio to help others heal. Somewhere along the way, it healed me too. And now, I get to share it with the world—and my son.”
