What started as a small studio with no business plan and a handful of students has since grown into a thriving, transformative brand.
Courtney Del Vecchio
At just 23 years old, Courtney DelVecchio opened her first studio, Soul Sweat, in Old Saybrook, Connecticut with nothing more than a dream, a deep love for hot yoga, and the belief that movement and community could change lives. What started as a small studio with no business plan and a handful of students has since grown into a thriving, transformative brand.
Courtney’s vision was clear from the beginning: create a space that was sweaty, safe, playful, and deeply human. Through her innovative blend of infrared heat and steam, music, breathwork, and mindful sequencing, she built not only successful studios but a culture of belonging, where people of all ages and backgrounds could heal, connect, and grow. Even during the challenges of pandemic shutdowns, she held true to her mission, proving the resilience and strength behind the Soul Sweat community.
After expanding to New Haven and establishing a loyal following, Courtney launched Sweatfluence in 2025—a bold rebrand and franchise model designed to share this life-changing experience with new communities. The name embodies her philosophy: by sweating and flowing together, we become our best selves and naturally inspire and influence those around us to do the same, simply by embracing who we are.
As a founder, Courtney is deeply invested in her franchisees’ success. She provides mentorship in studio design, instructor development, and community building, ensuring every location reflects the integrity, energy, and inclusivity that Sweatfluence is known for. Her journey proves that with passion, purpose, and the right systems, studios can thrive not just as businesses—but as movements.
“I built this studio to help others heal. Somewhere along the way, it healed me too—and now, I get to share it with the world and my son.”
— Courtney DelVecchio, Founder & Owner
Beyond the studio, Courtney enjoys being a mom to her one-year-old son, Brooks, traveling, boating, and living life by the beach with her husband, Spark, and their golden retrievers, Lou and Ollie.
